Employers: don’t miss the apprentice incentive deadline
Did you take on an apprentice this Spring or Summer?
If so, there could be a payment incentive of £3,000 waiting for you – but you’ll have to act fast.
This Government payment is available for those hiring an apprentice between 1 April and 30 September 2021.
Applications for the payment incentive must be made via your apprentice service account before 1 December 2021. A separate application needs to be made for each qualifying apprentice, and they need to have started their apprenticeship courses before 30 November 2021.

If you are hiring an apprentice later than the current cut-off date, do not worry. Applications for apprentice incentive payment for those hired between 1 October 2021 and 31 January 2022 will be available from 11 January 2022.
