Swatpro Academy has welcomed 23 new engineering apprentices to its prestigious BEMA training centre near Bristol. The 2022 cohort work for 11 different West Country employers and will start by learning the basics at BEMA's well-equipped workshop under the supervision of its expert trainers, before taking their skills to their employers, still under day-release training and supervision from Swatpro Academy specialists.
BEMA - the name stands for the British Engineering Manufacturers Association - has been in existence since 1936 and has trained thousands of highly skilled staff for local aerospace and other engineering sector firms.
